Bethen found her passion for physiotherapy through her time as a competitive Irish dancer. During the 14 years she danced, she competed at state, national and world championship level. As is the case with many dancers, Bethen has endured many injuries, which sparked her interest in sports and dance related physiotherapy.
Since graduating from the University of Notre Dame she has worked with numerous dancers and sportspeople; from young beginners to professional athletes, as well as people with workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, and general musculoskeletal injuries.
Bethen likes to focus on education and exercise prescription in conjunction with hands on therapy techniques, facilitating her clients to return to normal activities without pain, and to give them the tools & education to safely manage their own bodies after injury.
