Lisa Hutchinson graduated from Curtin University with honours in 1989 and went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy in 1996. In 1991, she and her husband Greg opened their first clinic in Fitzgerald Street North Perth. Lisa has a special interest in Dance Physiotherapy and has worked with many Dance Companies in Perth including WA Ballet and the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She has also been involved with numerous sporting groups including the Australian Lacrosse Team, Perth Wildcats, WAIS Breakers and Perth Glory. Lisa is currently in a non-clinical role. Andrew Baxter graduated in South Africa in 1999 from the University of the Wiwatersrand, Johannesburg. Andrew spent 6 years working at a multi-disciplinary sports medicine clinic in Durban, South Africa. During his time there, he had a broad exposure to a range of sports injuries at both amateur and professional level. In addition to clinical practice, Andrew was the physiotherapist for a premier league soccer team, a national club level rugby team, and for cyclists competing in multi-stage mountain bike races. Andrew spent a year in London focused on occupational physiotherapy, working in a preventative and treatment role in a London City Law Firm. Warren graduated from Curtin University in 1990. He initially worked in Community Physiotherapy and at Port Hedland Regional Hospital. He later moved to Kalgoorlie, where he became a partner in Goldfields Physiotherapy and was the clinic manager for 11 years.  Whilst in Kalgoorlie Warren completed Level 1 and 2 in Sports Physiotherapy and was very active in the local sports community. His main sporting passions are Australian Rules Football and Cricket and he has worked with both sports at the State level. Danica is a sports physiotherapist and has worked at APS Physio since 2015. Prior to launching her career as a physio, Danica was a professional dancer, ballet teacher and a WAAPA dance graduate. Career highlights include dancing with Tasmanian Classical Ballet Company and on the Australasian tour of “The Phantom of the Opera”. As a physio she has worked on “The Rocky Horror Show”, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, “Ghost, The Musical” and “Cirque Adrenaline” during their Perth seasons. Ryan graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2009 and pursed his career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in Perth, working primarily in private practice. Since then he has also completed a number of courses to refine his skills and interests. Ryan combines manual therapy skills, dry needling and exercise rehabilitation in managing a range of musculoskeletal conditions. Ryan manages a broad patient caseload of spinal and peripheral joint pathologies, soft tissue injuries and post-surgical patients. Outside of work Ryan has a strong interest in strength training and rock climbing. He has also been involved with club Rugby teams in New Zealand assisting with strapping and on and off field injury management.

Kyle Tobitt graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2011 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science Degree, and then went on to study Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2012. Kyle relocated to Perth from Zimbabwe in 2008 straight from High school to further his education. During his years at university he has worked with a variety of clients ranging from athletes to war veterans at various practicum placements. Kyle has a special interest in anatomy of the human body due to being an avid sportsperson. He has represented Zimbabwe in hockey, as well as representing state level rugby and cricket. Ellen Paterniti graduated from Curtin University in 2014 and began working at APS in March 2015. Ellen has been dancing since the age of three, in the styles of classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and is also currently teaching contemporary. Due to sustaining many of her own dance injuries over the years, she has a passion for managing dancers in all stages of their training. As well as the dance population, Ellen has a keen interest in treating neck pain and headaches within the wider community. She has completed further training in Dry Needling and Strength and Conditioning.

Bethen found her passion for physiotherapy through her time as a competitive Irish dancer. During the 14 years she danced, she competed at state, national and world championship level. As is the case with many dancers, Bethen has endured many injuries, which sparked her interest in sports and dance related physiotherapy. Since graduating from the University of Notre Dame she has worked with numerous dancers and sportspeople; from young beginners to professional athletes, as well as people with workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, and general musculoskeletal injuries. Adele commenced at APS Physiotherapy in 2016. Her passion for physiotherapy started at a young age during her dance career. Adele has previously trained with the Australian Ballet School and the Charlesworth Ballet Institute as well as completing a Bachelor of Arts (Performing Arts – Dance) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). After retiring from dance, Adele chose to pursue a career in physiotherapy with her vision and aim from the outset being to draw on her experiences as a dancer to enable her to help dancers and non-dancers alike.
